On September 11, 2001,  38 airplanes were rerouted from New York City, suddenly stranding nearly 7,000  passengers in a tiny town in Newfoundland. The population nearly doubled, but residents welcomed these unexpected visitors – who “come from away” – with open arms, providing food, shelter, and comfort. With a breathtaking score that blends folk, country and pop, Come From Away tells the true story of strangers who became friends – offering each other hope and humanity during some of history’s darkest days.

The inspiring hit musical that reminds us, when things are at their worst, people can be at their best.
